Highlights: Massapequa 9, Carey 6: Brian Flecker went 2-for-4 with three RBIs, one run scored and one stolen base to lead No. 4 Massapequa over No. 3 Carey in the second game of a Class AA semifinals series. After the sweep, Massapequa (18-5) will play MacArthur in the finals on Monday, 7 p.m., at Farmingdale State College.

Highlights: MacArthur 1, Syosset 0: Rob Andreoli singled, stole second and eventually came around to score the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning for No. 1 MacArthur (19-3) in its 1-0 win over No. 7 Syosset (15-9). Adam Heidenfelder tossed eight scoreless innings, allowing four hits, while striking out nine and walking one. Carmine Criscione pitched two scoreless innings, allowing two hits, while striking out one and walking none for the win. Zach Greenspan pitched a six-hitter through 10 innings, striking out 10 and walking two for the Braves. The Generals will play at Syosset in Game 2 of the Nassau Class AA semis at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Highlights: Massapequa 17, Carey 1: Nick Fanneron went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs and Bobby Honeyman went 3-for-4 with three runs and an RBI and Michael Cardino went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run to lead No. 4 Massapequa (17-5) over No. 3 Carey in game one of a Nassau AA semifinal. Game two is tomorrow at Massapequa at 4:15pm.

Highlights: Syosset 5, Hicksville 4: Mike Schaake doubled in Jake Mitchnick in the eighth inning to break a 4-4 tie, Steven Sessa went 2-for-4 and Jake Laine pitched six innings and scattered seven hits to lead No. 7 Syosset (15-8) over No. 2 Hicksville in the deciding Game 3 of a AA quarterfinal. Syosset moves on to play MacArthur in the best-of-three semifinals beginning beginning Monday.

Highlights: Massapequa 6, Oceanside 2: Brian Flecker's RBI single in the sixth gave No. 4 Massapequa (16-5) a 3-0 lead en route to the clinching Game 2 victory in the Class AA quarterfinals. Patrick Healy pitched a four-hitter, allowing one earned run with two strikeouts.

Highlights: Syosset 4, Hicksville 0: Carlos Solorzano tossed a two-hit shutout, with one walk, to lead No. 7 Syosset (14-8) in its Nassau Class AA quarterfinal win over No. 2 Hicksville (18-3). Kevin Kehne's two-run homer in the bottom of the fifth inning was the game's final margin. Joe Morris went 2-for-3, with an RBI and a run. Corey Stein was 2-for-3. The Braves play the Comets in Game 3 of the quarterfinals at 4 p.m. on May 17 at Hicksville.

Highlights: Massapequa 1, Oceanside 0: Alex Cosenza allowed eight singles, struck out six, and walked one in the Class AA quarterfinal win over (5) Oceanside. Nick Fanneron's triple in the third drove in Nick Comito. (3) Massapequa (15-5) takes a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series. Game two is Wednesday at 4:15pm at Oceanside.

Highlights: Hicksville 3, Syosset 2: Ryan Schultheiss delivered an RBI single to score Mike Reilly to give No. 2 Hicksville (18-2) a 3-2 win in 12 innings. Reilly went 2-for-5, with four stolen bases. Ron Bauer pitched nine innings, allowing two earned runs, while striking out nine. Reliever T.J. Carola tossed three scoreless innings and allowed two hits and struck out two to earn the win. No. 7 Syosset (10-8) was led by reliever Zach Greenspan, who tossed 7 1/3 innings, allowing four hits and an unearned run, while striking out six.

Highlights: Syosset 1, Farmingdale 0: Jake Laine struck out seven with no walks in a two-hitter as No. 7 Syosset (10-7) topped 10th-seeded Farmingdale in a Nassau Class AA first-round game. Steven Sessa scored Alex Perry with a squeeze bunt in the bottom of the fourth for the game's only run. Laine and Farmingdale's starter Anthony Galanoudis had a no-hitters through three innings.

Highlights: Freeport 9, Syosset 6: Freshman Justin Lake's first varsity home run was a grand slam with one out in the top of the seventh that gave Freeport (8-9) the 9-6 lead in Conference AA-I. Andy Villalona went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Wesley Harwood pitched a complete game to earn the win .
