Portledge 52, Waldorf 33: Senior Tamara Simpson scored a career-high and school record 40 points to lead Portledge (8-0) in IPPSAL. Simpson's mark is the all-time high for both the girls and boys programs. Her brother Terence set the previous mark of 39 last year. Tamara, who also had a career-high five three-pointers and shot 17-for-33 from the field, bested her previous high of 37, set in a 73-43 win over Chapin on Dec. 5.
