Roosevelt 41, Island Trees 7: Rob Hansen found Justin Terry on a third-and-12 with two minutes left in the first quarter to give Roosevelt a 13-0 lead in Nassau IV. Johnnie Atkins ran for 264 yards on 35 carries and scored two touchdowns. Atkins first touchdown, a four yard run, gave the Rough Riders a 27-0 lead with 8:00 left in the third quarter. A one-yard run early in the fourth put Roosevelt (6-0) ahead 34-0. Roosevelt had six sacks in the win. Hansen led with seven tackles, including one sack. Raymond Jones had five tackles, including two sacks.
