Long Beach 5, Port Washington 1: Senior Shannon Horgan had a career-high four goals to lead Long Beach (3-4-2) in Conference AA-II. Horgan scored her first goal from right outside the box with eight minutes left in the first half. Her second goal was headed into the net off of a corner-kick assist from Valaria Catrambore. With about 30 minutes left in the game, Horgan scored her third goal of the night from right outside the 18, giving Long Beach a 4-1 lead. Horgan's final goal of the night came with 20 minutes left in the game, when she sped down the field, passing Port Washington's defenders, and landed a breakaway goal in the inside post to secure a 5-1 win for Long Beach.
