HIGHLIGHTS
Roosevelt 21, Locust Valley 0: Johnnie Akins ran for 284 yards and three touchdowns on 34 carries to lead Roosevelt (8-0) in Nassau IV. Roosevelt opened up a two score lead in the third quarter, driving the ball 76-yards in eight minutes, capped by an Akins five-yard touchdown run. The Roosevelt defense then forced a three-and-out and Akins capped the scoring with a six-yard run with 1:16 remaining in the third. Raymond Jones led the defense with two sacks, Kyle Moore had an interception and Rob Hansen had eight tackles. Locust Valley falls to 5-3.
