Garden City 42, South Side 7: Brett Stewart hit Tom Wright, who ran a fly pattern down the middle, for a 34-yard touchdown pass with 8:18 left in the first quarter and Garden City (6-1) scored on its next five possessions in Conference II. Twelve seconds later, Greene intercepted a pass and returned it 15 yards for a score. Dan Confort, a sophomore, broke a 50-yard TD run with 8:57 left in the third for his first varsity touchdown.
