HIGHLIGHTS
Plainedge 55, Lynbrook 33: Davien Kuinlan rushed for 225 yards on 22 carries with three touchdowns to carry Plainedge (2-0) in Nassau III. Kuinlan helped put the game away, scoring all three of his TDs in the second half. Plainedge jumped out to a 20-0 lead with 5:43 left in the first quarter when Joe Bouse broke through the line and blocked a punt, which was picked up and returned 32 yards for a touchdown by Gianfranco Soriente. Soriente, who only played the first half, had five tackles and eight carries for 93 yards and a touchdown.
