Massapequa 48, East Meadow 40: Trailing by six entering the fourth quarter, Craig Berge caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Matt Caracappa, which capped a seven play, 55-yard drive early in the final quarter to lead Massapequa (2-0) over East Meadows (0-2) in Conference I. Paul Dilena's 4-yard touchdown for Massapequa a few minutes later increased the lead and was set-up by Nick Balzano's 17-yard catch on 4th-and-6. Caracappa completed 17 of 25 passes for 222 yards and four touchdowns for Massapequa. Berge made five receptions and caught two touchdowns. Balzano had a game-high 13 tackles for Massapequa.
