Bay Shore 8, Hauppauge 3: Senior Michelle DeVito pitched a complete game with three unearned runs on seven hits, three walks and 15 strikeouts to lead No. 1 Bay Shore (22-2) over No. 4 Hauppauge in the Suffolk Class AA loser’s bracket final. DeVito also went 2-for-4 with a solo homerun in the bottom of the sixth and two RBIs. Bay Shore will face No. 3 Longwood at home in the county final on Saturday at 2 p.m. Bay Shore needs to win that game to force a winner-take-all game. A win by Longwood would clinch the county championship.
