HIGHLIGHTS
MacArthur 2, Mepham 1: Nicolette Moustouka's fielder's choice scored Jena Cozza in the third inning to give No. 2 MacArthur (14-8) a 2-1 lead over No. 3 Mepham in the Nassau Class AA semifinals. Catcher Kristin Daly threw out a runner at third in the sixth and a runner at second in the seventh inning as the Generals held on to win. Ashley Massoni allowed six hits and struck out three in a complete game for the win. MacArthur will face East Meadow at 4 p.m. Monday in Game 1 of the finals at Mitchel Athletic Complex.
