Sayville 9 , Glenn 2: Patrick Jackson's three-run home run in the bottom of the second inning gave (3) Sayville a 5-0 lead in their Class A Winners Bracket semifinal victory over (7) Glenn. Later in the inning, Ryan Welch hit a solo home run to give the Golden Flashes a 6-0 lead. Welch went 4-for-4 with two RBI. Jackson went 2-for-4 with four RBI. Stephen Burghardt pitched a complete game, striking out three. Sayville (16-6) will play (1) Bayport - Blue Point on Wednesday at Bayport - Bluepoint at 4pm.
