Port Washington 4, Valley Stream Central 3: Nick Duarte induced a game-ending double play with the tying and winning runs on base for Port Washington (6-4) in Conference AA-III. Duarte's two-run single with the bases loaded and two outs in the fourth gave them the 4-1 lead. Junior Tyler Hertzwig allowed one earned run over six innings with four strikeouts for his first varsity win. Issei Kohama went 2-for-2 with two runs and an RBI.
