Hauppauge 7, Huntington 0: Sophomore Nick Fanti tossed a two-hit shutout, walked none and had 18 strikeouts, which is a school record according to coach Kevin Giachetti, to lead Hauppauge (9-6) in League V. Fanti carried a perfect game into the fifth before allowing a single up the middle. Vinny Murillo and Dom Confredo both went 3-for-4 with two RBIs.
