Mepham 1, East Meadow 0: Samantha Arcese's single drove in Alexa Morris in the top of the fifth inning for Mepham (5-2) in AA-I. Morris had led off the inning with a triple. Tonimarie Valeriano pitched a one-hitter with no walks and 10 strikeouts. Valeriano, who threw a no-hitter earlier this season, lost the no-hit bid on a double in the third inning.
