Garden City 7, Carle Place 5: Erin Cunningham pitched six innings with four strikeouts and went 1-for-3 at the plate and drove in the go-ahead run with an RBI-single in the bottom of the sixth to lead Garden City (3-1, 1-0) in Conference ABC-III. Melissa Ward went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and struck out the side in the seventh inning to earn her first save of the season.
