Bethpage 3, Great Neck North 2: Chuck Hoffman's single scored Michael Baggia in the bottom of the seventh for Bethpage (4-5) in A-III. Great Neck North had tied it at 2 in the sixth. Chris Stein threw a two-hitter with 15 strikeouts to earn the win. The single Stein allowed in the sixth inning was the first hit he surrendered in 12 innings, according coach Robert Fisher.
