HIGHLIGHTS
Southampton 21, Mercy 17: Jenna Hegel's RBI double to center scored the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th that gave Southampton (3-7) an 18-17 lead in a League VII/League VIII crossover. Jamie Lessard's RBI triple and Hope Bahnke's RBI single tied the score at 16 for Mercy (3-7) in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings. Both teams scored a run in the ninth. Caroline Rumph had four hits, four RBIs and four runs scored and Emily Goleski pitched a complete 10 innings to lead Southampton.
