Center Moriches vs Babylon

Babylon 13, Center Moriches 4: Allie Stanya struck out nine, allowed four hits in a complete game and went 3-for-4 with three runs scored to lead No. 1 Babylon (21-0) over No. 2 Center Moriches in a Suffolk B semifinal. Gwen Donaldson also went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Emily Bell's solo home run in the bottom of the second inning gave Babylon an 8-2 lead. Julia Vella went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run. Babylon will host the winner of Monday's Center Moriches/Mercy matchup Wednesday at 4 p.m and can clinch the Class B title with a victory.
