Long Beach vs Massapequa

Long Beach 5, Massapequa 3: Tonianne Larson pitched a complete-game with eight strikeouts, six hits and two walks to lead No. 3 Long Beach over No. 2 Massapequa in the third game of the series Nassau AA semifinals. Larson also hit a two-run double in the first inning. Second basewoman Eleanor Byrne speared a line drive at second and turned it into the a second play in the bottom of the sixth to end Massapequa's rally. Megan Korotz was 2-for-3 and had the go-ahead RBI. Paulina Cardona was 2-for-3 with a run scored. Long Beach will play No. 1 East Meadow on Monday.
