Westhampton vs Miller Place

Westhampton 8, Miller Place 1: Brooke Walker hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning and Lexi Miller hit a two-run home run in the seventh to lead No. 6 Westhampton over No. 3 Miller Place in the first round of the Suffolk Class A playoffs. Miller, Walker, Lauren Ramos (two runs), and Angie Acampora each went 3-for-4 for Westhampton (13-6). Acampora pitched a complete game five-hitter, allowed one unearned run, and struck out one to earn the win. Westhampton will host No. 7 Comsewogue on Saturday.
