East Meadow 12, Oceanside 3: Jenna Laird was 4-for-5 with three RBIs, and Gianna Azzato added three hits and four RBIs
for top-seeded East Meadow (17-2) in Game 2 of a Nassau AA semifinal. The Jets won two straight games for the sweep and now face the winner of Massapequa and Long Beach on Monday at Mitchel Field in the best-of-3 final. Winning pitcher Kelsey Leonard scattered five hits for the complete-game win. Fourth-seeded Oceanside led 3-0, but the Jets rallied including a five-run fifth inning to close the scoring.
