South Side 7, Garden City 2: Sarah Buckley drove in Lauren Hochhauser, the first go-ahead run in the eighth, to lead South Side (2-3) in non-league. Lia Stamile then hit a triple with the bases loaded with two outs in the top of the eighth to break the game open. Stamile finished 4-for-5. The game was the annual matchup held by Garden City as a fundraiser for breast cancer.
