Half Hollow Hills West 3, Commack 0: Rose Cipoletti hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh to lead No. 3 Half Hollow Hollow Hills West (19-3) over No. 6 Commack in a Suffolk AA quarterfinal. Francesa Casalino struck out 18 for the win. Sarah Auricchio and Renee Pino each singled before Cipoletti's first career home run. Half Hollow Hills West will play the winner of Eastport-South Manor and Hauppauge on Wednesday. Hills West has reached the County semifinals for the first time since 2002, according to coach Bill Mitaritonna.
