Kellenberg vs St. Anthony's

Kellenberg 3, St. Anthony's 1: Alexa Russell and Kelly Rasulo each had RBI singles in No. 3 Kellenberg's (18-7) three-run sixth inning in its second win of the CHSAA double elimination playoff over No. 1 St. Anthony's. Cristen Whigham's RBI ground out scored Krista King to give the Firebirds their first lead at 2-1. Katherine Piorkowski pitched a three-hitter, allowing an unearned run, three strikeouts and a walk. Kellenberg will face the winner of St. Anthony's/St. John the Baptist in the CHSAA finals at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Hofstra.
