Deer Park 3, Connetquot 2: Sabrina Riley's diving catch at shortstop with the bases loaded and two outs in the seventh preserved a 3-2 lead as No. 11 Deer Park (12-8) upset No. 6 Connetquot in a Class AA first round game. Deer Park scored three runs in the fifth on a pair of two-out RBI hits from Theresa Grimaldi and Tori Fox to take the lead. Deer Park moves on to play Longwood on Wednesday at 4:30pm.
