Valley Stream Central 8, Great Neck South 7: Tiffany Longarzo's two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning put Valley Stream Central (8-4) up 8-6 en route to its one-run victory in Conference AA-III. Longarzo also tossed a six-hitter, allowing four earned runs, while striking out six and walking three. Ashley Garcia went 2-for-4, with four RBIs and two runs.
