South Side 6, Manhasset 5: Freshman Mike Leake scored the winner unassisted from 5 yards with 1:36 left to lead South Side (3-3) in non-league. "This is our first win against them in the school's history," coach Steve DiPietro said. "We play them every year." Dennis Licalzi made 15 saves, including three big stops in the fourth quarter for the Cyclones. Brian Hurwitz added three goals and Chris Callahan won 11-of-14 faceoffs in the win. Henry Griffin scored with 6:12 left in the fourth to tie it at 5 for Manhasset (2-1).
