East Islip 19, South Side 14 Thomas Costarelli completed nine of 19 passes for 244 yards and three touchdowns as East Islip (10-2) defeated South Side (10-2) in the Long Island Class III championship. Costarelli also ran for 98 yards on 16 carries. Matt McIntee had seven receptions for 156 yards and two touchdowns. Matt Ferraro had an 80 yard reception for a touchdown for East Islip on the game's first play from scrimmage. Sebastian Regis and Charlie Heffernan had sacks for the winners. This is East Islip's second Long Island championship.
