Massapequa 56, East Meadow 21: Craig Berge caught four receptions for 83 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 3 Massapequa (7-2) over No. 6 East Meadow (4-5) in the Nassau I quarterfinals. "He's a great athlete and he's very versatile," head coach Kevin Shippos said. Nick Capuana rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Matt Caracappa threw for 90 yards and three touchdowns. Jack Korber rushed for 117 yards and one touchdown. Matt Martello also recorded one rushing touchdown. Dennis Mahoney recorded one sack. "The team is playing well at the right time of the year," Shippos said. The semifinal round is one step closer to the championship game. It should be exciting." Massapequa will play either No. 2 Oceanside or No. 7 Baldwin at Hofstra University in the semifinals on Saturday at 5PM.
