East Islip 42, Westhampton 27: Brandon Miller completed 12 of 19 passes for 252 yards and three touchdowns and rushed 16 times for 80 yards to lead No. 3 East Islip past No. 2 Westhampton in a Suffolk III semifinal on Friday night. Rob Kreush had three catches for 63 yards, including two touchdown receptions in the third quarter to give the Redmen a two-score lead. Derek Burrell (five catches for 75 yards) caught a 28-yard TD later in the quarter to make it 35-14. Dylan Rigo rushed for three 1-yard touchdowns. Troy Burrell had an interception at the goal line in the third quarter. East islip (8-2) plays top-seeded Sayville in the Suffolk III final at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Stony Brook. Westhampton finishes 8-2.
