Westhampton 34, Islip 24: Jaden AlfanoStJohn rushed 23 times for 82 yards and three touchdowns, picked off two passes and scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter as Westhampton rallied for 27 unanswered points to defeat Islip in a Suffolk III regular season finale. Christian Capuano completed 16 of 23 passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns while providing the final margin with a 20-yard TD pass to Jesse AlfanoStJohn in the fourth quarter. Islip QB Joe Juengerkes opened the second half with a 43-yard TD pass to Patrick Mai to put the Buccaneers ahead 24-7, but Capuano responded with a 29-yard score to Paul Boutin for the first of four second half touchdowns for the Hurricanes. Aidan Cassara led Westhampton (7-1) with seven catches for 65 yards. Shavar Coffey had eight tackles, Chris Daleo had seven tackles and Devin Koonmen had one INT in the win. Islip falls to 3-5.
