Valley Stream North 22, Island Trees 7: Joe Ruscillo was 5-for-8 for 203 yards and three touchdowns to lead Valley Stream North (4-1) in Nassau IV. The defense was led by Chris Case who made eight tackles and Mike DiRico who had eight tackles and a fumble recovery. After Island Trees touchdown early in the fourth quarter the Bulldogs forced Valley Stream North into a three-and-out. DiRico recovered a fumble on Island Trees next play from scrimmage that led to Valley Stream North's insurance touchdown. Brian Carroll handled the bulk of the rushing attack, carrying 21 times for 75 yards. Island Trees falls to 2-3. Mike DiRico recovered a fumble early in the fourth quarter. Island trees scored then forced a three-and-out but fumbled on the first play.
