Long Island Lutheran 28, St. Dominic 14 Anthony McCoy ran through untouched and added a two point conversion with 2:25 left in the second quarter to give Long Island Lutheran (1-3) a 22-14 lead over St. Dominic (1-3) in Conference V. In the third quarter, Elijah Walters ran a trap up the middle, got a block from Sebastian Ferretti and made two tacklers miss in the open field for a 31-yard touchdown run that gave Long Island Lutheran a 28-14 lead. "It was the best block I've seen all year by our team," said Coach Chris Reno. Walters finished with 68 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries, including a 16-yard touchdown run in the second quarter that tied the score at 14 and erased a two touchdown deficit. McCoy had 57 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries and Tristan Etienne added 97 yards on 14 carries. Linebackers Walters and Justin Brown both had six tackles to lead the team.
