Islip 48, Sayville 43 (OT): Vanessa Juengerkes scored 17 points and had 23 rebounds, four assists and four steals to lead Islip (6-1) in League V. With 18 seconds left in regulation, Jasmine Sapp hit a two-point jump shot to tie the game for Islip. In overtime, Juengerkes scored five of the team's nine points. Taryn Ohlmiller added 16 points for Islip and Erin MacDevitt led Sayville with 14 points. Islip coach Dave Goodman earned his 100th career victory as a girls varsity coach.
