Farmingdale 9, Plainview JFK 4: Senior shortstop Anthony Bonilla finished 3-for-4 and had the go-ahead RBI double in the top of the sixth inning to give Farmingdale (1-0) a 5-4 lead in crossover play. Bonilla had two RBI. Anthony Galanoudis pitched one inning, allowing two hits, while striking out two in relief. Tim Manolt pitched five innings, giving up three hits, two earned runs, five strikeouts and two walks for the win. Plainview-JFK's Ruggiero hit a solo homer leading off the bottom of the second inning.
