Commack 2, West Islip 1: Jake Krzemienski's walk-off single with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning scored Jake Jacobs as No. 2 Commack (22-3) rallied over No. 4 West Islip in Game 1 of the Suffolk AA finals. Krzemienski also retired the final batter in the top of the inning and earned the win. West Islip broke a scoreless tie in the ninth, and Tim McHugh evened the score for Commack with a one-out, RBI single. Peter Theodorellis struck out seven and allowed three hits and one run in 8 and 2/3 innings pitched. Game 2 will be Wednesday at West Islip at 4:30 p.m.
