Valley Stream North 12, Manhasset 7: Brandon Salem's three-run triple tied the score at six in the top of the third inning for Valley Stream North (4-3, 3-3) in its Conference A-VI/A-IV win. Anthony Martelli's three-run homer in the fourth gave the Spartans their first lead at 9-6 en route to a five-run win. Martelli finished 3-for-4 with two homers, seven RBI and three runs.
