Bellport 6, West Babylon 1: Evan Honce helped his own cause with a two-run home run in the first inning to give Bellport (4-5) a 2-0 lead in League V. Honce pitched a complete game, allowing a run on six hits with seven strikeouts, and hit 3-for-4 with a double and the go-ahead home run. In the three-game series with West Babylon, Honce hit 10-for-11 with 6 RBI. Coach Bill Batewell earned his 500th career win. He is now 500-338-5.
