Seaford 10, Plainedge 6: Jake Williams hit a three-run homer in the top of the first to drive in Frank Pristera and Jake Doyle to put Seaford up 4-0 and lead No. 13 Seaford (13-8) over No. 5 Plainedge in the second round of the Nassau Class A playoffs. Williams struck out seven and walked two in a complete game. Doyle went 4-for-4 with a two-run homer in the fourth and two runs scored. Sean Breheny added a three-run homer in the fifth and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one walk and two RBIs. Seaford will play the winner of No. 4 Bellmore JFK and No. 5 Plainedge in Round 3 on Thursday at 4:30 at the opponent's field.
