Smith tied the game with an RBI single, and P.J. Weeks pitched a perfect seventh inning to earn a save. The Phantoms finished 20-0 and completed their first ever undefeated regular season, according coach Jim Moccio."We had a season a few years back when we were 19-1, and the kids wanted to beat that," Moccio said. "It wasn't our goal from the beginning, but this last week once it got close and the kids realized that they could actually do it, they chased it, and now that it's happened it's very exciting... They knew it had never been done before."
