Wantagh 6, Garden City 5 (F/8): Joe Smith hit a triple with one out in the top of the eighth to score Mike Davanzo and give Wantagh (16-0) the win in Conference A-I. Wantagh was down 5-4 heading into the seventh until Nick English hit a two-out double to score Kyle Fagen, who had three hits. Junior Shaun Klotsche pitched three scoreless innings in relief for his first career varsity win. Smith went 4-for-4 with three RBIs.
